Reflect on this year and write down your memories of being in Year 1 or Year 2. You could print out or copy the design of this end of school year sheet. Or why not make your own? You can send me pictures on Class Dojo Portfolio.

Here is a Summer Activity booklet packed full of fun tasks for you to complete for the rest of this week. Relating to all things summer, you could either print and fill out the booklet or work out the answers on screen and write them down on a separate sheet. In the booklet, there are reading comprehensions, poems, spelling games, grammar games, phonics games, punctuation, wordsearches, crosswords and writing. It looks like so much fun!

Geography
Our unit this term has been 'We are Map Makers'. Remember how fantastic your maps of the school grounds were? Perhaps you could make a plan of your bedroom or another room in your house. If you have a garden, you could make a plan of that. Remember to draw it from an aerial view.

We had started making our diamond kites in school. Next, we would have strengthened the back with cross braces and attached a bridle, then the long string. Why not have a go at making a diamond-shaped kite at home? Below are the instructions in a slideshow.

Archived work - Week beginning 22nd Feb
*WELLBEING WEDNESDAY*
You are all working so hard at home and we know how difficult this is! With this in mind, we thought it would be nice to have a break from things every once in a while. So, on Wednesday (24th February) we will have our next ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ to take a ‘brain break’ from all of the hard work you are doing at home. We would love to see you choose one or two of our suggested activities to help you to take a midweek break, relax and do something for your mental health and well-being at home – children and parents! We will be doing exactly the same in school on these Wednesdays too. Each class teacher might still outline a morning task on this day e.g. Science, Topic or Art. But then, we would like you to choose a mindful activity or two from the grid below. We would love to see what you get up to on these ‘Wellbeing Wednesdays’ to look after your mental health, so please tweet us any photos @BishopCEPrimary. See the link below for the grid of suggested activities.
