Year 1 Mrs Renwick
Week beginning Monday 22nd February
Hello everyone,
I hope you all had a lovely half term and a good rest.
If you are learning from home this week, I have uploaded all of our work for the week below. Remember to send in any work by uploading to your portfolio on Class Dojo. You can upload documents or photographs of any work you do on paper too.
Thank you all for your continued hard work at home.
Mrs Johnston
You are all working so hard at home and we know how difficult this is! With this in mind, we thought it would be nice to have a break from things every once in a while. So, on Wednesday (24th February) we will have our next ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ to take a ‘brain break’ from all of the hard work you are doing at home. We would love to see you choose one or two of our suggested activities to help you to take a midweek break, relax and do something for your mental health and well-being at home – children and parents! We will be doing exactly the same in school on these Wednesdays too. Each class teacher might still outline a morning task on this day e.g. Science, Topic or Art. But then, we would like you to choose a mindful activity or two from the grid below. We would love to see what you get up to on these ‘Wellbeing Wednesdays’ to look after your mental health, so please tweet us any photos @BishopCEPrimary. See the link below for the grid of suggested activities.

PE
For PE, a great activity to do is yoga. It is relaxing, calming and really stretches your muscles! Visit ‘Cosmic Kids Yoga’ for some yoga sessions you could try at home.

Yorkshire Sport Foundation and national organisations, including afPE, have been working with physical educators from across the country to support parents to teach PE at home.
Short two-minute videos have been created that show parents (and teachers) free, fun and easy to follow PE activities for the whole family.
